K-PowerNet offers a technologically advanced fiber optic network that spans four states with interconnections that get you across the nation and around the world. We reach the markets you want with the capacity you need. K-PowerNet is committed to being a communications carrier that is reliable, scalable, flexible and responsive. Our network is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week by fully trained field technicians and technical engineers and is guaranteed to be there when you need it. We have proven experience in engineering, maintaining, and managing communications networks. Our services include:

  • Private-Line Ethernet services / EVPL / ELAN / EWAN

  • Dedicated Internet Access / IP services

  • Co-location

  • Optical Wave

  • DS1 to OC-n point-to-point and ring protected private line circuit

  • OC-n SONET backbone services

K-PowerNet has legacy SONET, Dedicated Wave and an extensive MPLS networks in Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri. (See map of coverage area). Our goal is to offer the highest quality communications services at the best possible price. Our system includes:

About Us

K-PowerNet is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KAMO Power. KAMO Power was formed on April 15, 1941 under the Rural Electrification Act of 1936 to provide wholesale electrical transmission to 13 rural electric cooperatives. Today, KAMO supplies power to 17 rural electric cooperatives serving more than 313,455 consumers in Missouri and Oklahoma. KAMO Power has a total of 2,713 miles of energized line in both states.

  • promote the availability of modern, cost-effective telecommunication facilities in rural areas lacking service and/or competition
